3. Electronic Communications & CASL Compliance

5. What Our Referral Service Does and Does Not Do
Submitting a request through our website does not create an agreement for any work to be performed, and it is not an appointment. It is a request to be referred to an independent licensed HVAC contractor.
What we do:
- Collect the details of your request and ask follow-up questions by SMS or email
- Refer your request, including your contact details, to one or more independent licensed HVAC contractors serving your area
- Provide this referral to you at no charge
What we do not do:
- Perform, supervise, or inspect any heating, cooling, gas, or electrical work
- Provide quotes, pricing, diagnoses, or technical advice
- Schedule, dispatch, or guarantee a contractor's attendance, arrival time, or availability
- Guarantee, warrant, or insure any contractor's work, licensing, conduct, or pricing
Any quote, appointment, price, warranty, or work is agreed directly between you and the contractor. We are not a party to that agreement. You are responsible for satisfying yourself as to a contractor's licensing, insurance, and suitability before authorizing work. We are compensated by contractors who participate in our referral network; this does not add any cost to you.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a referral at our discretion, and we cannot guarantee that a contractor will be available or will contact you.
Emergencies: our service is not an emergency service and is not monitored 24/7. If you smell gas, see smoke or sparks, or your carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, leave the building immediately and call 911. For a suspected natural gas leak in Alberta, call ATCO Gas at 1-800-511-3447. Do not wait for a referral or a reply from us.
6. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on our website is accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that the website content is error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to update or change information without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Calgary HVAC Leads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website or reliance on information contained herein.
